Connecting Every Generation of Nsaba Presbyterian Alumni.

Every great story begins with someone who dares to take the first step. For NAPOSA, that step was taken by Mr Jackson Amarteifio, a proud member of the 1998 year group, whose vision and initiative laid the foundation for what the Association would become. Recognising that the friendships, shared experiences and memories forged within the walls of our alma mater deserved to live on beyond the school years, Mr Amarteifio and some of his year group mates took the initiative to establish and formally register the Association at the Office of the Registrar General (ORC) in Accra in 2005. Alongside his team, he nurtured its early growth, bringing old students together and creating a platform through which the spirit of belonging could be sustained. Under their leadership, a committee was set up to draft the Association's constitution.

After establishing its foundations and guiding its initial journey, the founding leadership eventually handed over the mantle to Dr Agnes Adwoa Anima, supported by Mr Michael Addai, both of the 1997 year group, who would lead the Association for the next decade. For ten years, that mantle represented more than leadership; it represented a responsibility to preserve the original vision, strengthen the bonds among members and keep the Association moving forward. It was a decade of stewardship, commitment, and building on the work of those who came before. In 2018, the mantle was handed over to Rev. Dr Kwabena Aboagye of the 1978 year group to steer the Association's affairs. Rev. Dr Aboagye was the first Senior Prefect of our alma mater.

Through the collective efforts of members such as Rev. Melody Atta-Poku, Mr Ebenezer Asiedu (1990), Mr Albert Okyere (1994), Mrs Nina Asiedu (1994), Dr Amponsah Tawiah (1990), and Mrs Annabella Adjei (2000), the Association continued its journey, demonstrating that its strength lay not in any one individual, but in the shared identity and enduring connection of its members.

Today, our story stands as a testament to the power of continuity. From the initiative of one old student to the dedication of successive leadership and the participation of members across different year groups, the Association remains a reminder that leaving school does not mean leaving the community behind. We are connected by more than the classrooms we once occupied or the memories we share. We are connected by a common heritage, a collective identity and the opportunity to make a difference together.

As we look to the future, we honour those who started the journey, celebrate those who have sustained it and welcome those who will carry it forward.

Our history is our foundation. Our unity is our strength. Our future is ours to build. Osompa Yɛ!
